Fished Haller lake tonight in a fine sprinkle. I went out in the float tube and covered the whole lake well. There was one other boat with a couple of dudes who didn't show any signs of fish. I fished this lake HARD. I threw the whole tackle box at any fish that may have been there. Not a single bite. I did not see a single fish rise either. The lake has a nice assortment of docks and lilly pads. I was throwing the bass stuff too..
I will say this though.... it was interesting to note that this lake was extremely clean. That is to say there were virtually no weeds on the bottom. The was almost a sandy substrate as I walked into my tube. I actually slow dragged a worm along the bottom all the way across the lake without any hangups.

Well tommorrow its off to bitter lake, since they are both right next to the house.
