Headed out to Big lake today in hopes to get myself into some bass. About 20 minutes into fishing, I flipped my craw colored jig n pig up to a dock in about 5 feet of water, felt that great tap and the line got heavy. Set the hook and landed this nice 3+ pound fish. Came out of water probably about 5 times, luckily it was a solid hookset so it wasnt able to spit the hook. Unfortunately while jumping around the hook on the jig went back into the side of its mouth so now I had to get the barbed hook out twice which was a pain. Fish was released, with a "future scar" from the hook but otherwise unharmed. Only fish landed, had many bites but was unsuccesful at getting any of them in the boat. Water temp ranged from 73-75 degrees. Please C&R bass!!
Oh and sorry bout the bad pic, wanted to get the fish back in the water and was by myself.
Team C&R Out!
