Great day. Started cathing bass right away. Was up on my buddy 7-0 before he started catching any thing then we started to catch croppie here and there with the bass the were any where from 6 to 12 inches. Then all the sudden I started getting short strikes and when the lure got to the boat there were five huge browns going crazy all around it but couldnt hook any thing. cast a few more times and all the suddon whamo I hooked into a 14 inch trout. Did I mention we were bass fishing. After all that action we caught a few more croppies and some more bass, lost a nice bass probly around 3-4lbs at the boat. Thats when I just started nailing the croppie every cast but my buddy wasnt catching any when he hooked the bottom of the lake and pulled out a 24 inch trout with a 14 inch gurth huge fish. No net so I had to land it by hand which was a little nerve racking considering i just lost a brown trout at the boat. Tried to release but like the other trout she ate the hook and was doomed. Great day at the lake.
