Had a great day on the lake. Took my girlfriend out for the morning. Who started catching fish on her first cast. The fish was a nice fat perch. Then she caught another. In the mean time im still trying to bass fish. I hooked and released a nice little large mouth and couldnt get any more bites. My girl friend was still nailing perch and hooked a few little trout. We put back the trout. So the wind was now on my nerves and my girlfriend out fishing me so I decided to stop bass fishing and anchore up. Switched to what she was useing good old worm and splitshot. She ended up catching a tench on a little four foot pole. I caught a few more trout and a healthy fighting cat. But together we caught about 30-40 perch lost count. Kept a few to fry and let the rest go to grow. Great place to take a person who just wants to catch some thing.
