I am 17 years old, and I have been fishing Elioka, for tha past 5 weeks or so. Catching lots of 17 and mostly 18 inch Largemouth , that are 2.5 to 3 pounds, on Crankbaits mainly, some on spinnerbaits, and a couple on Berkley Power Lizards.Lots of people say that the weeds are a bitch to fish in the dead middle of the summer,but I have been useing the weed lines as a weapon. If you use crankbaits that match the hatch, you will be extremely successful. I try to imitate Pumpkinseeds, and perch, since that's what they mainly feed on. Spinnerbaits work pretty good in the middle of the lake. I havn't got into the 4 to 6 pound fish yet. Also if your a angler that fish's for perch and crappie, I have seen good size crappie follow my crank towards the middle, fishing for bass, but I havn't really tried for them, because I am mainly a bass man.
