Not as crowded as I thought it would be.Water was upper 30 degrees.Fished mostly along the cliffs and 3 of us were able to catch and release 18 nice bows, 15-20".

My dad and I went fishing today and didnt cach a thing. Not even a bite. I tried fishing with lures and on the bottom but nothing was working. I don't think I will be back for awhile.

got to squalicum at around three o clock, trolled nymphs, bead heads, no luck. Threw on a wooly bugger, and landed a great 15 inch rainbow, really enjoy the lake. nice scenery

Deer Lake is loosing water depth at the public launch earlier each spring making the public launch useless. I believe this is due to the high use of lake water to a lot more cabins.

Very slow this morning, counted about three dozen fishermen, warm sunny weather with a 5 mph wind. A few were getting hits on spoons and grubs, I used a woolly bugger and crionomid and no luck.
