Here are some of the bigger fish I have got in about the last 5 years, all were over 8lbs. All of them were caught in N. Idaho

They were also all caught with lures I made. 2 of them on Sink-N-Fools, 1 was on the floating mouse bait I make, and the other was on a prototype large buzzfrog.

Has anyone ever tried the spray on Plasti dip in red to make their own red treble hooks. I saw red plastic dipped hooks on a pike fishing show from Sweden and thought it looked like a good idea, but to buy them already made is super pricey. The only place I could find them was overseas at $11 a pack...

Real men (like me) Pike fish from their boats all winter.
