Re: New WDFW warden TV show
I thought you had to be a certain distance away from a roadway. like 50 feet? hard to do from a bridge. practically had to be standing on the white line

Re: New WDFW warden TV show
During elk season this year i heard they were filming some around Pacific county. I guess some hunter shot an elk from a nearby bridge (Niawakum river bridge) right off hwy 101! I guess they determined it to be a legal shot!? how could that be legal? .... Hopefully it makes the show for an...

Re: Reason for reopening
I might be opening a can of worms but I wouldn't mind seeing hatchery steelhead spawn. Eventually they become wild steelhead. Eventually their genes will strengthen I guess that's true...I would guess most rivers with hatchery fish in them have some sort of interbreeding with wilds going on.. Remov...

Re: Reason for reopening
Steelhead are competitive with each other over spawning ground. By removing some of the hatchery fish it gives more room for the wilds to do their thing..

Re: good polorized fishing glasses
I love my pair of Smith's with copper polarized lenses for fishing but they are more expensive. I payed $100 for them but that was discounted %50 for being on snow patrol.

The "Fishin Magician" is a good source for this area, however he rarely ever gives a negative report. I'm curious if anyone else had similar luck with what he described.Mike Carey wrote:Dave Graybill's latest article reported good fishing. It's in the articles link tile.

Re: Lake Wenatchee Opens for Sockeye
I fished Lake Wenatchee for the first time last year and caught this fish, which was a good sized one for this lake. The fish don't have much farther to go to spawn so they are colored up pretty good. The meat was surprisingly still very red and tasted great out of the smoker. I'll be making another...
