Re: Open seat?
Absolutely Danny! I plan on it. Let's put a date or two on the calendar when you get back from the island. Looks like you're having a good time up there Look forward to fishing with you this fall!

Hey Chris! Good to hear from you. Thanks for responding. Yes, would love to join you sometime. Feel free to email or pm me anytime. I'm game for salt or fresh, just love to get out there. Been way to long since I've heard my drag sing and seeing that pole doubled over. I've been fishing lakes a litt...

Open seat?
Hello, Been fishing a lot this year, but haven't punched a single salmon and only a few steelhead. Itching to get my first salmon of 2014 and wanted to see if anyone had an open seat. Happy to chip in for expenses or whatever. My schedule is rather flexible, so weekdays are just as good as weekends....

Re: telephoto DSLR camera lens recommendations
Congratulations on the new camera. I shoot canon and can not say enough about 70-200 2.8 IS. It's a pricey lens, but worth every penny if you use it. The IS is a life saver in low light conditions the the bokeh on the 2.8 is gorgeous. I actually was considering selling my mki version since I recentl...

Re: Questions about camera tripod heads...
Definitely recommend getting a ball head. Way easier and more versatile! That link that oneshot shared looks perfect and a great value... Might have to pick up one of those for myself Thanks for sharing, Oneshot!

One of my favorite campsites I visit each year. Wish the fishing could have been as good. We stayed 3 days/ 2 nights and fished the majorit...

Re: Anyone fish Cle Elum Lake from shore?
Thanks, Oneshot! This trip is definitely more about camping, but can't leave the pole at home being that close to water :) We've fished there once before, but only caught one or two very small trout. Saw a few schools of fish swim by near the bank, but couldn't figure out what they were or what they...

Thanks, chrome! Believe we're camping about a mile from the mouth. Will bring my ultra light gear and my walking shoes. Excited to get out of the city and spend a few days next to water and a campfire! Thanks again for the help.

Anyone fish Cle Elum Lake from shore?
Heading up to Salmon La Sac for the first camping trip of the year. Love to wet a line and wanted to see if anyone had any luck catching anything in the reservoir? I don't have a boat, so this will be all from the bank. I've tried a few times but never had any luck. Anyone know what might work from ...

Re: Steelhead Reports and Pics 2012-2013
FINALLY landed my first winter run of 2012 this week on the Sky. This 6lb cookie cutter was caught on a rvrfshr 50/50 spoon. Only took about 5 trips, but oh-so worth it! Set a personal goal of 30 this season.... No where near FF's 200, but will be happy if I get close. Guess that means more fishing ...
