Silver Lake Cowlitz County
Drove down from Lacey to fish for Crappies in Silver Lake. I’m from Ohio so Crappie fishing is in my blood. I fished the public fishing dock but got skunked and I didn’t know where else to fish. In Ohio the Crappie would be in shallow spawning now but they weren’t around the dock. Is May a good time...

Re: Cal
David, you bailed?! Lame! Haha my uncle is nuts about fishing and he lived in California for 30 years. King salmon, halibut, shark, striper.. You name it! What area did you move to? I'll ask him about it. I've seen you slay and I personally believe it would be unhealthy and detrimental to your adol...

Calif. river fishing
So I just moved to California from Washington because of the Navy. Loved every minute of it in Washington and for sure will be back. I heard of a couple rivers that get steelhead and other types of salmon in it here in California, including Eel Mad and Klamath rivers. Never have fished these rivers ...

Glow Bug
Hey guys just got into fly fishing about 3 months ago so still a bit of beginner. This is going to be a bit of a nube question but I'm going to ask it anyways, is it possible to fly fish a glow bug with sink tip line ? If so how ?
Thanks in Advance, David

Re: Lamiglas Cascade Pro rods
This is the rod that made me loyal to Lamiglas. I had it for 2 years and this and XMG are my favorite lamis so far. This is a very strong rod. Great if you are bushwhacking. By far one of my favorite king rods !

Re: lamiglas xmg50
This is by far my most favorite rod on the market ! Great power and sensitivity. This year I also landed a 25lb king on my XMG but mine is an 8-12. Normally this light of a rod is more for steelhead but I use it for both species. The only negative I have on the rod is that the tip is a little weak. ...

Re: Skok
I don't know much about flossing either. Seen guys do it but from watching them do it, it seems like they had to let go about 25 fish that were hooked in the belly or tail before they finally hooked one in the face. I also noticed it has 4 parts. Cast, drift, rip, and reel in. Then repeat. go to th...

Re: Skok
i fished the skok yesterday and there are fish being caught but i will never return to this river as the people fishing there are anything but accommodating. i can handle combat fishing, as i frequent the puke, but the skok is just a joke. some of the guys i stood in line with were pretty good, but...

+1 what prime time says. Danny is one of the most legit and best fisherman I know. If hes not fishing pinks its either because he rather go for kings .fish vacuum wrote:People can be so funny sometimes.
If I took clients to the Samish, or the Cascade, or Fortson, I wouldn't turn my nose up at guiding for pinks.

I've noticed the same thing on a lot of my hatchery fish as well. Most of the time it is a yellow spot near the belly though.
