The post before yours (since deleted) told me that the Area 7 Emergency Rules were in effect which closed all salmon fishing. I verified and it was correctly stated. I canceled my camping trip there immediately (bummer).
Thanks for your input and to the previous poster's post (since deleted).

Garcia-Mitchell 300C Fishing Reel Transfer Gear
Anyone have a transfer gear from a Mitchell 300C fishing reel that you can part with? Mine has a few missing gear teeth. This reel is like 1968. Pro Bass Shops/Cabelas, etc. do not sell. Would like to show a picture, but can't figure out how to do that.
Let me know what you want if you can. Thanks.

Re: How to disassemble a Shakespeare 1788 HD Model EC reel?
Done! It's working! Lets go fishing!
So I called Shakespeare and they were worthless on any help. They did give me another phone number for tech help in Des Moines, Iowa and they too, were worthless. I just figured it out on my own after several attempts.
Ok, have a great day!

Re: How to disassemble a Shakespeare 1788 HD Model EC reel?
thanks Amx! Ok, the latest is I was able to miraculously assemble it back together in a workable condition! EXCEPT .... there is no anti reverse mechanism within this reel (that I know about anyway). With a proper drag setting, I should be ok, but there's got to be a anti reverse on this reel. There...

How to disassemble a Shakespeare 1788 HD Model EC reel?
Does anybody know about any help with the disassembly/cleaning (hopefully with pictures) on a Shakespeare 1788 HD Model EC fishing reel? I have a schematic, but that doesn't answer the actual assembly process, only serves as a parts list with picture. I'm not sure how to put it back together again! ...

Lake Tapps Boat Rentals ... or ... Resorts?
Wife and I just made a scouting trip to Lake Tapps (Sumner/Bonny Lake) and this was my first time there in 26 years! Was at the North Park there by the boat landing. Does anyone know if there are boat rentals at this Lake, such as at a resort or boat establishment? I was quite impressed of the size ...

Boat Rentals on any of our lakes?
I tried to google this subject ..... and more or less, "struck out".
Do any of you know what lakes actually rent out 8-12' row boats? I know American Lake near McChord rents them. Any other lakes out there?
Thanks in advance!

Rainbow trout with rocks inside
Caught about a 2 lb 16" rainbow that I believe was just planted recently (last Tuesday, May 13th) from Trout Lodge Commercial at Meridian that had 2 rough edged quarter sized 3/16" thick rocks inside of it upon cleaning it. Have any of you experienced anything like this? I was surprised to say the l...

Chartreuse green PB and Gulp roe spray. Used either deep fishing or on surface with bobber set-up. Works about 2/3rd's of the time.

Meridian results for Kokanee
Well I gave it a shot this morning AM on the docks for a bit over an hour, but no luck. About 4 other people fishing as well. Tried spinners, jig, and spoon, but no hits. Pink colors. It was great to get out. Cloudy morning, no rain. Word had it during rainbow fishing last spring that you could catc...
