Re: Where to fish steelhead?
Thanks all for the replies. My problem is the places, like Snoqualmie and Skykomish, are too general for me. I have no idea where I can fish steelhead along the banks of those long rivers. I will be appreciated if you guys can tell (or PM) me some spots (i.e., GPS location), I then go there can try ...

Where to fish steelhead?
Hi all I live in Redmond and only have experiences with trout and bass. This year I hope I can catch some steelheads and silvers. I know silvers are not coming yet, but saw many rate 3+ reports on steelheads. I guess it is already a good time to catch steelheads. Can anyone tell me some bank fishing...

Fly fishing combo recommendation for novice
I am totally a fly-fishing novice -- never cast a fly fishing rod before. But I do have interests to learn and want to enjoy fly fishing this year. My target fish will probably be trout (sammamish river [shore], Beaver lake [float tube], Pine lake [float tube]) and bass (lake sammamish [shore]). My ...

Here is the fish. I think it is a whitefish, and hope it won't be any illegal fish BTW, I would like to throw it to the trash can according to your guys' comments.

Re: Beaver Lake
I went to Beaver lake this morning. My buddy and I arrived at 6am, and fished from his boat. It is very productive today, both my buddy and I got our day limitation within 2 hours. I think it may due to the thick cloud that blocked the sunshine until 9am. And in this relative dark morning, the fish ...

Hi All I caught a 17" lake whitefish from Lake Sammamish today. I know it is OK to eat yellow perch and trout from Lake Sammamish, but have no idea whether whitefish in this lake is safe for meat. Checked the fishing regulation and found no consumption advice for whitefish. Does anyone know the answ...

Re: Beaver Lake
I spent four hours at Beaver lake this morning. No bites for power egg (I tried both green and pink) . Got one rainbow using a red rooster tail with black dots. But many people, especially the guys on the boat got many rainbows.
I would like to say it is enjoyable to fish there.

Re: Bass Fishing Buddies List
Hi all. I'm Sam. I am new to bass fishing, and don't have boat. In the past year (2011), I usually bank fishing at Lake Sammamish. Be willing to learn from experienced bass guys. Also be willing to split expense for a seat to do boat fishing. If you want a fish buddy, pm me.
