Too many forums?

Anyone on here think there are too many different subforums? I think its too much, its tough to find certain threads and the activity on the forums gets diluted because its so spread out... We have 4 sections for Oregon fishing which seems pointless, and close to like 30 different subforums in total...

Only two games I really care about are Hawks/Bears and Pack/Falcons. Would love to see seattle win then see Falcons lose to GB so Seattle could host the NFC championship game....

I doubt the eagle was the cause of the mortality, only because of the size. Eagles are scavengers. They will eat anything they find along shore..... Eagles aren't just scavengers, they'll go down and grab live fish (trout, bass, salmon, etc) anything that swims out of the water and fly away with it...

RE:No Poacher Police in Cowlitz County........

It's sad really, but what's even worse is that up here they had to lay off the sheriffs and police, which protect people from bad and dangerous people. Law enforcement only gets funding when it brings in money or votes, and right now our state has put itself in a position where it spent more money ...

And they don't buy from us. We buy wayyyy more from them than they buy from us. We have a considerable trade deficit with them, all due to the cost of labor being significantly cheaper and fewer laws/restrictions in terms of environmental laws and manufacturing operations. They can make cheaper cons...

And so now we are in between a rock and a hard place. China is an ally with N. Korea. A majority of our manufacturing is done in China. What happens if that relationship goes south? Then what?:-k America will have jobs back! Yeah right. Another east asia country will pick up the demand and start su...

RE:Fish planting question...

They are planted to be caught. Put and take hatchery lakes appeal to people who want to get their limit of 5 fish. If you want quality fish, search out some selective reg lakes. They are out there. I'm talking lakes with one or 2 fish limits with fish over a certain size. The other reason they stock...

RE:centerpin/noodle rod suggestions?

And this will be my first year targeting steelhead, if they hit softly then a noodle rod would be a good choice. Not sure if a noodle rod is the best choice for steelhead. You should be able to get used to the feel of a soft take without having to use a "noodle" rod. Of course, a noodle rod will al...

RE:A 40 year old record, a 70 lb King.

I saw that story on TV a few days ago. The thing that stuck me is that the state was planning to "reset the records"... that seemed rather peculiar to me. Seems if you won a record you would like to keep it, if no one ever catches anything over 70 lbs that record will drop jaws for generations to c...

I remember a few years back while trolling out at the bubble (8-2) talking to an older man who said that the day before he landed a 60 and 70 pounder. I wounder if his fish would have beat the state record (if it was as big as he said) but who knows, i never saw it I'm gonna say fish story IMO. Rar...

From rumors- and facts and such Seattle is gonna have a really bad winter with possible alot of Snow! Making Western/E. Yes.

Further casts can be attributed to a longer rod, a better reel, and lighter lb test line. As others have said, 17lb test is probably overkill and I'm not sure what good a 7' rod will do either.

Plenty of silvers/pinks from the beaches @ Bush/Lagoon. Not exactly been a great year, but those are two great beaches to intercept salmon and steelhead.
