Anyone out there have success in Liberty for Walleye? I have never caught one and its my home lake. I picked up some black slimers and from what I read walleye like leeches. Any tips or ideas? From what I understand we cannot use real leeches in Washington?

I hope to put some out in Liberty Lake in the morning. Where do they live? We had no luck last year.

So I am going to be on Bainbridge in a few weeks and will get about 3 hours to myself. Is there any non-saltwater fishing on the island? I tried to find something on the Fish Washington site but didn't actually see anything on the island, it could just be my lack of knowing the area though.

So I have decided to target Crappie this year. Where is the best place/spot to fish for them? I mostly shore fish but do have a canoe and inflatable that I use when needed. When do the bait fish start to come in around here? Any help would be great.
