pinks are in sequim bay!! heard multible reports of people catching them out there. also alot of very mad king and silver fishermen out in front of the bluffs in port angeles. said they cant keep them off the hook. ill be going out this weekend and giving it a try!

thanks for the hint on the spot swede! :cheers: ive used the berekly alive gulp piling worms(the little fake ones) and have had great luck with them, or small walleye curly tail jigs tipped with a chunk of herring. another one of my favorite spot is to buzz up to the stilly delta and fish the small ...

we are camping at the park this weekend down there. im hoping the water has warmed enoguh to pull the flounders back up shallow and get the perch in there! anyone wanna attack the pier with me and maybe go out in the 12ft alum?

^^^^ i was just gonna say that hoochies and spin glow are my weapon of choice out in the salt. work really well for saltwater steel if you can find them. and silvers.

i fish cassidy quite often and have found how to catch big fish and keep the little guys off the line, 1/16 ounce jigs with a minnow attached. they can by the dead ones in the bag that you can get from joes or were ever. then i fish vertical, and i fish deep. there is alot of stumps and log structer...

if your interested in catching some steelhead you have the pilchuck river not to far from you. it has alot of places to drift fish from the bank and has been kicking out some steel over the last few weeks. and lake cassidy ( over by the resort) has had a few cold water crappie caught in it

there is lake 22 just past the pilchuck mountain road that has quite a few fish in it. some nice bows and is fairly easy to fish
and there is lake heather. real easy hike and a hole pile of 8-12 inch bows in it.

the mouth of pilchuck creek is another hot spot for whiate fish, steelyhead like to hang out there too at times

i fished the ye ole pilchuck river today up by the p5000 and seen a couple of steelhead. no hits though. i would love to fish the sky a little more cause its an awesome river but the road is friggin washed out a few miles outta index and my quad qont make it very far up there. i wish the dang forsto...
