I've been trying to do this technique for a while using a sammy and just can't get it down right. Must be one of those things you gotta see first hand to really get the rhythm right.

I went Saturday, lots of fun! First time watching top fuel, about blew my ears/face off the first race because I was not prepared and sat REALLY close to the track. We walked around and looked at all the cars - didn't see your orange number 70.... D'oh! You meant 1970!

I've been to the classic car race a few times. Was thinking about going to the NHRA thing this year since it should be a *bit* more exciting

Dick's Sporting Goods has been taking over a lot of the old Joe's buildings. There is a Dicks in Puyallup (not sure if that used to be Joes or not), but maybe they will start moving more of them here.

Sprague Lake - 1st trip
Hi everyone - we will be going to Sprague Lake this weekend (4 days). I have never fished this lake but I understand it is mostly a Trout lake. So I would like to catch trout of course, but also large mouth bass. I will be fishing from a boat, so I am wondering what techniques work well on that lake...

I fish from the banks and use a bluefox lure directly on the main line or a 50/50 dick nite and 1/2oz weight on a 3 way swivel. Either way just cast and let the current take it and reel in. I think I get a lot of anger strikes with the dick nite because of the clacking noise the weight makes against...

You could attach a siwash hook to the main hook

Mosquito Repellant
Heading to Potholes first weekend of June. Did it last year and the skeeters were ungodly and almost seemed attracted to the OFF! w/ deet. I sprayed some on the side of my truck and they swarmed right to it!
Any suggestions or recommendations for these buggers? Sprays, scents, candles?

Camping near your boat
Well I have posted this before but it seems to have disappeared - I will write down the suggestions this time. Looking for lakes in Washington with truck accessible camping near the water where I can tie off my boat nearby. Preferably with bathrooms nearby as well for the wife. Here is an example: I...

I created an organized "cheat sheet" for this and am working on some revisions. You can see it here as well as other comments related to your question.

RE:T MOBILE CELL PHONE
This works surprisingly well, one thing to know is that even if you phone comes back to life the "moisture sensor" will still be tripped so if you send your phone in for whatever repair/service in the future they will reject it.

Thank you guys for the info, I took my buddy out Sat morning and although the bite was scarce the water was perfect and the little 12 footer held up well. Went out from 6 to 1 caught 2 little perch and a smb and nearly hooked a seagull on a sammy :O.

A couple weeks ago I checked it out and the card machine was down and you had to put your money in some sort of a pipe bolted to the ground.BassinBomber wrote:6$.Amx wrote:How much do they charge for parking/launching there now?

thanks for the info flippinfool, indeed this lake can make a miserable trip on my boat. I like to stay near the shore/docks and definitely get out early to avoid the larger boat traffic.

Lake WA Seward Park
Hi Everyone, Are you familiar with the launch off Seward park Ave in Seattle/Renton? I am considering going out this weekend with my boat and this is a nice open launch with easy access. The only thing I am not sure of is the habitat, water depth, etc. If you have any advice for this area you can sh...

RE:Pinks in the sky yet?
Would love to find some new spots closer to the ocean, I always have my lady with me though so if that aint a crowd then let me know.
I use either a 50/50 DN on a 3 way setup, or a Pink/Chart Blue Fox directly on the main.
