Re: Weight Size To Float Size
I do the exact same thing with no reason to change.BentRod wrote:I use 3/4 oz clear Beau Mac floats and use a 0.4 to 0.5 oz inline weight. I typically float 1/8oz jigs, but it works well with a 1/4oz jig/4" pink work well too, so a little light or a little heavy both work well.

Re: Puget sound steelhead
For me I feel like #4 is the only solution. It promotes change which is what the Puget Sound needs. It Replaces the cookie cutter hatchery brats with what are essentially hatchery raised native steelhead. It won't mitigate the gene pool over time because the same fish wont be used year after year to...

Re: Skokomish Fishing and Camping
Personally I just can't figure that river out, Been down there three times this season and not a bite, and it goes the same for everyone else besides the snaggers. I've heard so much about this river and the huge schools of kings but can't seem to find any for myself

Re: Skok, purdy creek regulation
No, from the mouth of Purdy up to 101 is still bobber only until the end of the Chinook Season. Even if the hole below the creek is open to all fishing, I wouldn't be caught dead fishing there. Everyone knows those fishing off the rocks are being less than reputable by sight fishing, or in this cas...

Best Westport Salmon Guide?
Looking for someone to take us out later this summer. We're looking for more of a guide service rather than charter to keep the people to a minimum of just us. Does anyone have any recommendations?

Go for the aforementioned North Fork Custom. Mainly because they're made from a North Fork Composites blank. Better than anything the big name companies are putting out presently.

Re: Wading boots
I actually bit the dust a couple times in that green river mud due to my felt boots... But when your wading in the water you feel 10x safer than with rubber and thats what matters most.
