Re: Mineral Lake
Do you think drifting with a worm will work? The majority of the fish were holding 8-12ft off the bottom, so I was thinking of dropping a worm to that level and drifting with the current.

Re: Mineral Lake
We go to our friend's house on Clear Lake every year for the 4th. I was there and wondering how that would affect fishing. I actually wondered if you would be out there the next day.
I'll get some new scents to try. Thanks!

Re: Mineral Lake
I did use scents, garlic and shrimp scent, no corn. I didn't jig, I will definitely try that. I actually used a Kokanee setup that I learned by reading your reports and watching your videos. It worked on Wapato lake where the fish were this deep too but didn't work here.

Mineral Lake
I was out at Mineral lake yesterday and saw a ton of fish on the finder with a lot of BIG fish. They were all holding around 15 to 25 feet and were not interested in anything I had. I used crankbait, spinners, spoons, dodgers, pop gear, hoochies, salmon eggs, power eggs, etc. with not a single bite....

Good Perch Lakes
I am looking for some good lakes in the South Sound area for perch fishing. The lakes will need to have boat rentals or good bank or dock fishing. Any suggestions? Are there any good areas on the south end of Lake Washington to fish from shore?
Thank you for any advice or suggestions.

Clarks Creek
I've lived in Puyallup my entire life and never fished this creek. Any advice on where I can access it to fish? Is it worth my time?

Chambers Creek
I'm going to have some time next week to fish Chamber's creek. Can anyone give me some tips on where to go and what to use? I'll have a couple hours to kill and thought it would be a good opportunity to put a line in and see what I can catch.
I appreciate any advice you can give.

Re: Got this warning from the Warden yesterday
The argument about retaining two limits of game fish is based on the assumption that once you've limited on one species and are "targeting" another, you will release "incidentally" caught fish from the species you've limited on. That is all well and good IF you are actually able to release them. If ...

Trolling without a downrigger
I don't own a boat, so I don't have a downrigger, but when I rent a boat I want to be able to troll deep. How much weight do I need to use to get down to some deeper fish? I'd like to be able to troll at 10ft, 20ft, or 30ft. Is it possible without a downrigger? I appreciate any pointers. Thank you!

Lake Chelan Fishing Suggestions
I am looking for some suggestions. I will be in Chelan for Memorial Weekend. I'd love to book a guided fishing day with my boy but don't have that kind of money. When I was a kid my family would camp at the State Park and I did well fishing off the docks there, but we're not staying at the State Par...

Re: Lakes with boat rentals
I live in Pierce County and have gone to Silver Lake and Tanwax many times. I'm open to travel within a couple hours. I haven't had success Googling for lakes with boat rentals. Any suggestions in other counties?

Lakes with boat rentals
I'm looking for any lakes that offer boat rentals. My son loves going fishing on a boat so I'm looking for some good trout lakes that have boat rentals so we can spend a day trolling. Any suggestions?
