RE:I want to take my son fishing. A little help?
I agree with G Man on this one, this is a difficult time to catch bluegills, or any other panfish. If you want to take a kid, i would recommend fishing for the trout that will be planted next month. Beaver and Pine Lakes are good lakes to try. Another problem would probably be the cold. So keep your...

RE:Crappie
I'm not the greatest Crappie fisherman, but i caught a lot of them at Lake Cassidy last summer. They have to be over 9 inches to keep them there i think, and while i did catch a few over that size, most were smaller. I trolled a chartruese crappie tube with a chartruese mini scented worm as a trail...

After watching Mikes video on winter smallie fishing Lake Washington..
I convinced my dad to take me to Sammamish either Monday or next weekend. So, i think its safe to say fishing on Lake Sammamish wont be much different then fishing Lake Washington, right? And after watching the video i have just a few questions.. 1st, when using the rev rig, are you actually moving ...
RE:Thieves
thieves suck. they ruined my salmon season. jacked the yamaha 9.9 off my dads boat.
the worst part is, we found out it was gone the day we went to take it home to PREVENT IT FROM BEING STOLEN.

RE:places for catfish near renton to issaquah area?
A few years back I caught a good sized cat (2lbs) on the North end of Lake Sammamish while fishing for bass in about 12' of water. Took my jig hard and fought like a smallie! ' G-Man is right. There are a lot of catfish on Lake Sammamish. They're brown bullheads i think, but they actually get nice ...

RE:Lake Alice or Lake Joy
Just about a pound each. Two weeks ago i went there for about 30 minutes just to see how some new cranks swim, and i was surprised to catch one. I remember i did the same thing a couple months ago, and got surprised then too. Then last Saturday i went out for like four hours just throwing plastics i...

RE:Lake Alice or Lake Joy
do you have access to those lakes? I've thought about going to them but I've been told they're private. I was also thinking about giving Phantom lake a try this winter. It's about the same distance from our houses. I havent caught any bass this winter from Phantom Lake. I've been fishing it from th...

Ha I won't be using mine till summer. And even then it will just be for when i'm bored. More of a tackle box decoration then a lure for me LOL. But I'll be glad to post how it swims.

Thanks RB. I was pretty lost about why i caught them there.

Shallow bass this time of year?
I just got some new cranks, and I was so bored the other day i decided to go try them out. I was fishing Larson Lake in Bellevue, and it has these pads that never go away...like they stay through the winter. I tied on one of the cranks and threw it beside the pads a for a while and i caught two larg...
