Re: Gil Netting in Lake CDA

If you want to know if its possible to wipe the pike out of a body of water with nets look up studies that have been done in Canada and the Midwest. They did exactly what they are doing on the PO river and quit after a number of years because it didn't affect the pike population. I will say that the...

Re: Blue Lake in the Cda chains???

There are definitely pike in there. We prefished it for the tournament this year and did well in a few spots. It wasn't our best lake so I haven't fished it since then. A couple of the bays have good structure, There is at least one really good weedline and the ledge in the back of the lake have all...

Re: 2013 Pike Tally

Too bad I don't get on here much anymore. If I had known that you guys were talking pike I could have probably made you jealous a time or two. Buddy, I can't show off many Washington pike these days but Idaho has treated me well. One of these days you'll have to make it back up to these parts to cat...

I know, I don't get on here much anymore and I have been slacking in my fishing the last 2 years. This year though, I'm back with a vengeance. Be prepared to see some pike and muskie pictures start popping up.

Well they destroyed our great pike fishery, the least they could do is find a way to give us more muskies... right buddy?

RE:Question on Fishing soft Swimbaits

I agree with anglin. I fish a lot of swimbaits up on pend oreille and it takes some getting used to. You will feel a "bite" before the fish has it all the way in his mouth, especially when dealing with the littler fish. Like he said, don't set it on the tick tick. You will feel it load up and thats ...

RE:WDFW & Kalispel Tribe Meetings on Northern Pike

Hey Yankin. I am always looking for an excuse to go catch them in Montana! In fact I am going to Flathead May 15-17. If you ever get an idea to go my schedule is pretty open and flexible.

RE:Pend Oreille River Gill netting and article from the Newport Miner please read

musky hunter has a pretty good point... I know the WDFW and Kalispel biologists that have been working on this. They have done a lot more research and put a lot more time into this than myself or anybody in this forum. They are also very well aware of the success of some fisheries managed as trophy ...

RE:Informative Pike Meeting March 22nd If you love PO River Pike We need everyone support

It's been a while since I have posted on here but I feel like this is an important topic. We have the potential for one of the best pike fisheries in the country. It is a young fishery that could continue to grow and prosper into a well balanced well maintained fishery for not just pike but all spec...

I would love to hit Tapps to but am not familiar with it at all so I will probably just try to get to mayfield if I get a chance monday or something. Dave, Thanks for the inf...

RE:Westside Bass

Thank you! Your help is greatly appreciated. I think that gives me some good options. I have both outboard and bow mount electric. Easy to take the outboard off and run solely electric for lakes that dont allow outboards as well.

Westside Bass

I'm spending a week and a half or so on the west side to visit family and friends. Haven't bass fished this side of the state. I brought my boat over and I am taking a friend out on Thur. or Fri. Looking for a good bass lake in the Oly area or near Grays Harbor. I know of a few but having never fish...

RE:education

I would love some! I have been at silver and had people tell me they caught pike! I had to inform one dissapointed gentleman on a dock that it was a tiger muskie and he couldn't keep it. A major problem we have here in the Spokane area, (it might occur elsewhere I'm not sure) is that idiots go fishi...

whoa AnglinArcher...... I know you have experience when it comes to fishing and much knowledge of many fisheries but..... I usually don't correct people when they make minor false statements but at least one of yours is out of line.... On the other hand, a controlled stalk of Tigers, in Cerlew, in H...

RE:Can we all just get along please?

Well I think that the bickering that was originally referred to can be seen in the post about the muskie in the cabelas tank. I understand that especially in an online forum people are going to disagree about things and argue some. That is good most of the time. You get to see more than one side of ...

After I lost a musky because I literally had him rip the rod out of my hand in a figure eight, I got this little guy. Got to show my friend his first musky. Yet to get him one.

Come on guys I know you have to have some photos.... there were fish caught in the tourney weren't there?

This season's photos!

I figured we should have a post with everybody's muskie photos for the season. I will start with a 13 year old I took out muskie huntin. He did a great job of landing his first muskie, a 43 inch 18lb fighter! I got a 30 incher that evening. Both photos of the bigger fish are of the same fish. He had...
