RE:Help me catch a Coho out of Shilshore please.
OK, I might try that. I am surprised that I haven't been able to track a single online seller of these. Also, any good tips to where I should be reading posts etc. on when the Silvers are in around Shilshore? I am assuming mid Sep. would be a good bet, but where do I get info on when they actually r...

G-Man, thanks. What size hooks should I get? 2/0? Siwash? any different sizes for different lures? I have heard negative things about treble hooks, so I believe I will be using singles.

Help me catch a Coho out of Shilshore please.
Ok, I fish maybe 1-2 times a year in Saltwater. Last year, I went out of Shilshore to catch pink, and did OK. I want to go out and try Coho this year. Before I go, I need to be as prepared as possible. I prefer catching fish when I go through the effort to go out anyway. I have attached a picture of...

RE:Wanted: Galvanized boat trailer for 16 foot runabout
I had luckily just put my boat in the water less than 10 hours before this happened.... The pictures actually gives a wrong impression of the extend of the damage. I already contacted a place, but they told me it was totaled. My insurance also deemed it totaled. Pretty much every piece of the frame ...

Wanted: Galvanized boat trailer for 16 foot runabout
I am looking for a new trailer for my boat
The boat is a 16' runabout. I have attached a few pictures of my old 1990 Calkins trailer, and would like something similar to this.
The trailer needs to be in good condition with good tires, and bearings etc.
I Hope that someone can help me out here.

RE:pinks are coming
Hey, just wondering if anyone could give a few gear tips. What test lb line to use for main and leader. I want to be on the safe side in case some good size Coho or King snatches it, but light enough so that I am still targeting Pinks... Does it make sense? How long between dodger or flasher and lur...

Although it is true that it happens every year, I still see way more this year than previous 3 years. I live in a waterfront apt. in the south part of the lake, and have never experienced this many though.

How to rig herring for trout fishing
Hi, Ok, I have read that using herring might work well when trying to catch cutts. I have almost solely used needlefish, but would like to give this a go on Lake Washington soon. I have attached a picture of the herrings I bought, and they are about 5 inches from head to tail each. Unfortunately I a...

RE:Lake Sammamish Salmon - are you fishing it yet?
G-Man: If it is not a secret, could you tell me what you used to catch those 2 great looking fish? I have never caught a Salmon before and was hoping I would be able to take my dad, coming from Denmark on Tuesday, out for a fishing experience on Lk Washington for Sockey, but I think we all know how ...

RE:Professional spring tune up of outboard
Thanks. I will deff call those places tomorrow.
I was quoted 375.00 by a company a while back, but when I wanted to confirm today, the rates had went up, meaning I would pay 450.00
I thought that was a little too much, so looking for a slightly cheaper solution.

Professional spring tune up of outboard
Hi, I leave in S. Seattle area. I was wondering if anyone know of a good company, which makes "house calls", and can tune up a 90hp outboard motor. I really want to have my 1990 outboard checked out (compression, water impeller, ignition) and changed gear oil etc. etc. Let me know if any recommendat...
