There is camping there. My ex GF loves to camp there and there was GREAT fishing from the dock there last year. Small, privately owned campground.

OGD, do you have brown bullhead confused with 'bullhead'?
Brown bullhead are indeed a catfish. The common 'bullhead' which I think you are referring to as being something you don't want to eat is actually a sculpin.

I've always gone to the 'main' campground. It's really close to the dam, so good shore fishing for the kids, and I can slay the kokanee from my kayak. I didn't go last year, but the previous year I could always produce about 5 kokanee per hour.

Check out Alder Lake. You can't camp right on the water without having a boat, but the campsites are short walk from the lake, and there are picnic tables (with grills) you can set up at during the day. Casting from shore can catch Kokanee, Perch, and Crappie.

That's because there are not very many down south. The habitat isn't there. Very sandy/muddy, and lings like structure.

They want to sell new licenses before you see the newer, more restrictive regs, get PO'd and decide not to get one that year!

RE:2011-2012 regulation publish date?
Correct me if I`m wrong but opening for trout is the last weekend in April. If I remember they come out before that. Only for lakes/ponds that list the last Saturday in April. The unlisted lakes and many listed lakes in the reg are actually open year round. LAKES, PONDS, AND reservoirs are open to ...

RE:2011 Triploid stocking report by region
This isn't about them being 'new' to a lake, it's the annual stocking program. Just because they are putting in fish this year, doesn't mean they didn't do it in previous years as well.Teal101 wrote:Wapato is NOT a new triploid lake unless they've killed it off. RE:Lake Roosevelt Camping & Fire Rules
Every time I go fishing, kayaking, hiking, etc., I ALWAYS find someone else's garbage laying around. Even on a hike close to Seattle with all the 'eco nazis' hiking around me, passing the garbage by and not picking it up. Classic case of 'all talk' type of people. Yep, this is America and we have Fr...

Lake Chelan locations
All the reports from Lake Chelan reference places like 'the bar' 'trench' 'flats' etc... Where exactly are these places?
