Methow River Float

Does anyone have some ideas on where to put in and take out for floating the Methow River? Looking at a full day length and a half day length. Appreciate all the help!

Matt wrote:I have done very well on blue fox vibrax spinners in size 5. I like the all metalic colors, either all chrome, all gold, or all brass. I also like big teardrop wobbler spoons.

Just ditch the trebles they come with and ad a siwash hook then pinch the barb.

Drift gear works great too!
Thanks!!!

Summer Chinook River Fishing

What does everyone use in a river that has Selective Gear Rules (no bait, single barbless hook) when fishing for Chinook?

Specific lures and colors?

Can you use jigs?

Thanks for the info.

I'd try selling it no more than $250. If you can buy one brand new for $300 most people will pay the extra $50 for a new one.

Summer Chinook

Since its almost time for Summer Chinook on the Columbia... I figured I'd ask everyone what is their favorite technique for catching them.

I am more of a springer guy so I haven't done much in the summer run... Any pointers for me and everyone else would be awesome!

I am currently shopping around and have narrowed my choices down to two brands, both within a few hundred dollars of each other... The dilema I am having is deciding in Aluminum or Fiberglass? I really like the Clackacraft 16' Salmon Steelhead Guide Boat. Pros: Fiberglass is light and seem to be abl...

There is only a handful of places to fish from shore... Its still early. Went out once (drift boat) and nothing to brag about. PM me if you need some access ideas.

I don't think so... Plus the lake is pretty small. You'd get around in a trolling motor pretty easy.

Home Defense Shot Gun?

Recently in my neighborhood I believe there may be a need for a new purchase for the bedroom... Last night we had several break-in's in vehicles in our neck of the woods. Assuming they tried in my vehicle too. No such luck cause the doors were locked... I am very well protected with a .40 and multip...

When did they start releasing coho into the Icicle? That's a pretty serious journey for a coho to be making. Were they in good shape when you caught them? AMX - A floy is an easily spotted, external tag that is used mark fish. They mark all kinds of fish with them including bass. They were dark so ...
