Re: What type of Cannon Downrigger is this....
I recently purchased a Cannon downrigger from a garage sale and am unable to identify what model it is. It has a 2' boom, fat boom, not the skinny one and at the base there is a center screw to attach it to a mounting plate. No mention anywhere to identify what type it is. I need a base for it. Any...

Re: Lake Washington Restriction?
No I never noticed if there were or not but it does get real shallow at some spots and the pads and hydrilla would be a pain in the ass to take off the trolling motor. I've bass fished the docks at the house just east of there and that hydrilla can be a pain. Here's a picture of my bow mount trollin...

Re: Lake Washington Restriction?
I've been in that blue area circled rowing my pontoon and in the lily pad and and mats of hydrilla there was alot of fish activity, I don't know if they were bass, yellow perch, crappie, or etc.... Yeah it is fishy in that area. I have talked to one guy that was fishing on that dock where the sailboat...

Re: Boston whaler trolling help
If you make it yourself make sure your bracket is stainless steel or strong aluminum since you will be using it in the salt too. Hate to see you lose your motor because of a rusted bracket.

Re: Boston whaler trolling help
This trolling motor bracket would work good on your swimboard, and if your looking for an internal gas tank there are some nice 5HP kicker motors with them, not sure about 6 HP though. I have a 6HP kicker/trolling motor on my 14 foot aluminum, with yours I would go with a 5 or 6 HP and an extendable...

Re: Consumption advice for lake whitefish in Lake Sammamish
If you fish Lake Washington, you would of for sure have seen warning signs around the whole lake to not to eat Squawfish/Northern Pikeminnow. Look on page 30 in the fishing regs. at Statewide Mercury Advisory.

Re: Trout Plants 2012
As I was pulling my boat off the lake at Angle(kokanee fishing), WDFW fish truck pulls up and tripiloids were planted in Angle Lake.
Time for me to stay off that lake for awhile--it's going to be a mad house there.

I'm sure glad most people are fishing the snoho/sky and wallace for silvers, I been sticking with the lower Duwamish for brighter silvers still and just about have a full punch card on silvers.

#1 Log Boom Park dock(Lake Forest) and #2 Coulon Park(Renton) on Lake Washington are two good spots to bring young kids fishing and fishing in spring/summer time can be non stop bites which is very fun for the young ones. Log boom park has so many varities of fish in that spot you'll never know what...

Yeah my fishing rod is laying on top of the frozen Raging River and there was only a trickle of flow underneath all that ice... That part that looks like white water is frozen solid, tried to walk across but was too slipp...
