I had the pleasure of interviewing some Skagit County residents for a bass fishing article I wrote for the Skagit Valley Herald's Sports section.

David Parnicky, Robert Mann, Matt Johnson and Brian Calvert are featured in the article.

Great article.

One thing ya maybe coulda mentioned;

“Matt (Johnson) didn’t give up,” said Calvert, who introduced Johnson to bass fishing. “He had his bad days but he kept going. Bottom line, it’s all about time on the water.”

Added to that might be;

"But we had fun FISHING, and that is what Bass fishing is all about".

Hope you don't mind my throwing that in there.
