Are there any good and fairly priced bass boats?

I have been looking at some boats for bass fishing. Most of the ones I've looked at are very expensive. Are there any good quality boats for a good price?

9 Grand can get you a decent bass boat. Buy used you should be able to find something around 1989-1994 18.5ft with a 150hp. If you could manage to spend an extra 3,000 you can find a lot of nice used rides. Check anglers marine in spanaway I know they have some stuff in the 5,000 rang but you get what you pay for.

If you're looking at new boats, i would look at Tracker boats. $10,000 can get you a pretty sweet boat, so long as you don't care about going fast (25 hp motor). It includes pretty much everything you need: boat, trailer, motor, bow mount trolling motor, fish finder, etc. A couple other companies like Crestliner and maybe Triton offer the $10,000 range entry model as well.

Dude, I was in your situation about a year ago. I looked at the Trackers, they are really nice boats for the money. I decided to save a few more pennies and get a boat I could compete with and ended up getting a pretty nice Skeeter. In my opinion it is worth saving up to around 12k and you will be able to get into a really nice bass boat. Triton is pretty proud of their boats. Do you want to just bass fish or do you want to get in the tournies? You can bass fish out of alot of different boats if you're just out to have fun doing it.

entry level stratus is around 13K and finacing goes up to 12 years i think. this is a fiberglass boat with a 60 or 90 yama. good luck.

You can go with boats like Lunds or Smokercrafts that are aluminum and you can get them really well setup with a Minn Kota and a 4 stroke for under 10 grand....

Hunt craigslist portland and seattle. I scored my smokercraft 182 pro mag for $8000.00 in mint shape. Word to the wise, pay the $200 and have a certified boat shop inspect it. They will go through it top to bottom, engine and all and give you a print out of findings. Good luck and be patient, your dream boat will show up.
