Big Worms

Im looking to start fishing huge rubber worms and would like to know some good colors and brands for some large worms as i am getting tired of throwing the little 4 and 5 inch worms.

Bass pro shops Culprit 12 in. Black, Grape, Grape shad, Junebug, If they have Plum crazy get some. They may only have them in 7.5. They also have 10 in. These will catch lunkers!!

Definitely pick up some 10" Berkley Powerworms. Choose a few colors that look good to you based on the bodies of water you will be fishing. Also, get some 8" and 10" Yamamoto Single Tail Grubs. I fell in love with these baits in Mexico but they also produce very well in Washington State. I like the Black/Blue tail and (194) Watermelon with the tail dipped in chartreuse. Also, pick up some of the new Yamamoto 10" Kut Tails. The Kut Tail worm is one of my favorites and I am confident that the 10" version will catch HAWGS!!!!!!!!!!!!

I t-rig them with 1/8 th oz up to 3/4 oz they are heavy enough to cast with a bait caster with no weight. They have many colors you can also go to Culprit.com. This is what Marc used to get his 9.25 lb LMB in Long Lk last year. I use the black and junebut the most.you will cast more with out any thing but they pay off. and never set your rod down with the lures in the water!! This could cost ya.

Well i am looking at both the culprit worms and the big berkely ones.

I hope to find some of the hawgs in my local lakes.

I use 10in Berkley power worms, texas rigged, my fav colors are black of course and black/blue fleck. I started using them this thanks to trent, and it has paid off big time!

I'd listen to that Trent guy. Oh and Taggypoopoo, he knows a thing or two as well.
For me, Culprits. Green Pumkin and Junebug. And yes, Trent handed me my first Culprit Worm and I haven't put'em down.
But both of those plastics will get you some nice fish FM. With the fish you've been finding lately this will step your game up for sure. What's next? Jerkbaits, Jigs, Swimbaits? Sky is the limit and the fish can only get bigger for you.

yea i want my first seven pounder. i missed it by 3 ounces so far. but im hitting on of my big bass spots this weekend so maybe i can get one there. but i will look into getting some of those worms. i have some 7in worms right now for the time being.

In addition to the giant worms, you might want to invest in some 8" Zoom lizards as well! Honestly, I'm sure I'm missing out, but aside from my Mexico trips, I've just never had the confidence or the patience to really put the big stuff to the test out here. In Mexico, I never threw anything smaller than 8".

I have a few packs of 10 inch power worms, but I have caught the most on my 9.5 Reaction Innovations Big Units. Either of those plus the Culprits will catch some big fish no doubt about it. The old stand by lures still work if put in front of a big bass.

Well thanks chris B i am starting to throw some kgb soft swimbaits and some big power worms and even some senkos so we will see what happens
