Medical Update

Post by raffensg64 » Fri Mar 27, 2009 7:43 am

3-27-09. Old Man Winter just won't release his grip on this one! The south end and central section are still ice-covered. The NE corner still has some open water but this area is no bigger than 3 days ago.....these sub-freezing overnight lows just keep hanging on and, according to the weather reports, are only going to get worse as another cold front moves in tomorrow with highs in Upper 30s and lows in the 20s. Maybe it'll be ready by the general opener!!!

So....if you have to go, just bypass Medical and head straight to Amber.

P.S. I'm lamenting my poor luck...today's high is supposedly in the upper-40s with sunshine, but of course I have to work. Tomorrow's forecast, when of course I'm off, is a high of 38 with snow! Guess it's my turn to "MAN UP"....see you at Amber if you're up to it!

Yep. It's really opening up now. The remaining ice sheet on the south end has shifted to the middle of the lake, courtesy of the wind, taking that UFO-style aerator with it!!! I didn't look at the north end today, but am assuming it should be open, too,, considering it opened up first. Unless of course the northward moving ice sheet has moved in.

One could fish the south end for sure.
