Nooksack Fall/ winter

HI everyone recently I moved to bellingham and i would like to hit the noooksack for steelhead this winter and fall. I like fishing jigs under floats but i can learn to fish what ever they will eat.

Most people "in the know" consider steelhead fishing on the nooksack to be futile at best.
