I lost two fish today at reiter due to some idiots. I saw em later trying to snag/net a giant fish that was in the stream lol. That has got to be against the regs right?

I was up yesterday also on the highway side with my GF ... Saw the same thing ..... We left shortly after I slipped of a rock and landed on my arse on a rock.... No fish, no take downs, and a sore bruised behind to boot...

yeah I always want to try the stilly because we always drive along it while going to our cabin on the cascade. Where you fish at fortson? deer ck? Is fortson hole down the fortsone mill rd or across swede heaven? Sorry a little off topic but I am a noob, just not a reiter.

Sometimes I just wonder what the hell people are thinking.Usually when I go to Reiter people know how to fish properly. This new group that has been going the last couple of weeks has no clue about river etiquette. I am usually pretty patient with people and don't lose my cool but last week I had to exchange a few words with someone....

I was also there that day on the highway side and saw that foolish person. Pretty sad to see a grown man choose to grab a net and try to take fish illegally. Just unbelievable that he didn't care that everyone was watching him and that he was that desperate for a fish. Did anyone say anything to him? There were like 4 or 5 guys around him.

between the people breaking into peoples cars, and douchebag snaggers in the creek, pisses me off. and it just so happens that 95% of snaggers "dont speak english"

That is true that they don't speak english but i'm pretty sure they understand some english so if you say no and shake your head they will understand and if that doesn't work i'm pretty sure having your phone out and saying 911 they will get the picture. so pretty much speak to them like a little kid saying things like no no noo, bad, time out, or start counting 1-2-3 *belt whip*. Just kidding on the last two but you get what i'm trying to say.

I would have certianly said something, and if needed, escorted them away from the creek. Rods and nets may have been broken in the process. I have no problem sounding off when I see blatant violations.

I'd wait for the Wfdw. There's not a point of breaking/enforcing the law. Many people at Reiter carry weapons. And i'd not want to be infront of one....

Many of us these days carry EVERYWHERE, but still its not worth the confrontation. Call the WDFW.

"Escorting" them away from the creek? Then breaking their nets and rods? I'm surprised you haven't been shot if you do this in real life.
