I read that the sol duc dosent have much bank access, but maybe that was during high water. I read on the regs that the area near the hatchery is not open. Is it easy to hike around and find spots without waders? or mostly private land
going there tomorrow to maybe try for some sockeye.

not much access in general on the sol duc especially during the summer with all the brush and stuff. there should be fish in the river though that is a guarantee.
