:-k Can anyone out there tell me excactly where Texas Rapids Boat Launch is on the Snake River.

In the WDFW regs it is open on the Snake River for Spring Chinook from Texas Rapids Boat launch to the Army Core of Engineers Boat launch approx one mile above Little Goose Dam. I wouldn't mind giving it a try but, I don't know where it is.

I have looked on the interweb in the Washington gazette and one of the best maps money can buy of the Snake River and its contour.

If it is below the Tucanon River mouth I thaught that it might be a nice trip to try. I could try for Springers, Sturgeon, Walleye and Channel Cats all in the same trip if I wanted to.

4 miles upstream of the Tucannon. The daily limit for Spring Chinook has been changed to 1 by emergency rule.

A9, I tried Google.

Jake Dogfish do you know what side of the river it is, I know there is a boat launch on the south side of the river about four miles upstream from the Tucannon. If that is it the WDFW does not give much of an area to fish from a boat. Both directions from Little Goose dam makes it what, two, maybe three miles.

I can't stand it that I've got to drive soo far away to fish the Snake for salmon! Why is the zone sooo small?
