Caught about a 2 lb 16" rainbow that I believe was just planted recently (last Tuesday, May 13th) from Trout Lodge Commercial at Meridian that had 2 rough edged quarter sized 3/16" thick rocks inside of it upon cleaning it. Have any of you experienced anything like this? I was surprised to say the least that it was able to swallow these rocks.
I know sharks eat some weird things, like just about anything, but rainbow trout?

Those hatchery trout do not know what to eat. I have caught a lot of triploids with nothing but rocks and bass worms in their stomachs. They are used to being fed theyre whole life then all of a sudden have to find out whats food and what isnt.

Well in the morning we ended up catchin a nice 20in triploid and what do you know it had 3 one 1inch chicken bones in its stomach
