Hand tied tippets
I have a very tight budget and I possess plenty of types of mono and floro. I fish in very small streams with lots of brush and lose a lot of tippets. Does anyone have any ratios, tips, knots that might help me in my quest to cheap homemade tippets. Thanks

RE:Hand tied tippets
A tippet is the very end of a leader that connects to your fly/lure. You do not "build" tippets, you build Leaders. Google Leader building, there is a vast wealth of info on it. I build my own steelhead leaders but buy leaders for trout. Since this is fly fishing related you should post it in that forum.

Mods: Move to fly fishing section...
Fish4brains is correct. Might wanna peep around some google search results and see what you can find.
I'm sure Marc Martyn probably has a few good bits of info for you as well....
