Would I be able to get my 14 foot jon into kress or swafford? It is on a trailor. I am actually planning a swafford trip lol. Any tips from anyone who has fished it? Is it primarily a night fishing spot for cats? Anyplace to place a tent? And do cats pretty much hang around lilly pads or are they more toward the middle at night? lol As you can tell, I havent really fished for cats. BUT it is my goal to get one over 10 pounds this year.

You can't camp at Kress, but I can tell you where the cats hang there.

The areas marked 'CATS' are the areas they like to hang, but not the only areas I've seen them:

I use my 18 foot shock boat to survey the lake so your 14' should be fine.

Not sure about camping at Swofford. I'll be up there early next week and I'll get some pictures and report on the launch.

I know, so you'd have to have a visiter's license to fish Silver lake for bass with us. Or the other lakes for kitty cats.

have to make a rule tho with them guys...
make sure they prove in the pic that they didnt floss 'em !!!.... DOH

just kid'n ...just kid'n....keep it clean here..
maybe some 1 out that away can make it out to Harts lake...'n show us what ya got ???
