Lake Alice or Lake Joy
I am looking for a change of scenery and dont want to fish beaver lake. So which lake would u guys recomend. Would the smallmouth be biting in Joy. What bout trout fishing in either lake. Any advice will be appreciated
RE:Lake Alice or Lake Joy
do you have access to those lakes? I've thought about going to them but I've been told they're private. I was also thinking about giving Phantom lake a try this winter. It's about the same distance from our houses.
I won't kill anything less than a meal

I havent caught any bass this winter from Phantom Lake. I've been fishing it from the shore though, but i doubt it would be good even from a boat. There is a lake not far from Phantom Lake though, called Larsen (Blueberry) Lake, and ive actually caught a few bass there in the last couple weeks. So, if you decide to fish Phantom, you might as well try Larsen too.gian wrote:do you have access to those lakes? I've thought about going to them but I've been told they're private. Thanks JT
what has been the size of the bass
what has been the size of the bass
RE:Lake Alice or Lake Joy
Just about a pound each. Two weeks ago i went there for about 30 minutes just to see how some new cranks swim, and i was surprised to catch one. I remember i did the same thing a couple months ago, and got surprised then too.
Then last Saturday i went out for like four hours just throwing plastics into any openings i could find, and i caught two.
So its not like its great fishing, its just better then Phantom, at least it is to me.

I honestly wouldn't give any of them a try. It's just too plain cold! Joy can be pretty good for bass when the water warms up and lake alice the trout fishing should be non-existent this time of year. Alice is pretty much a put and take lake and they haven't been put in there in a while. FM, maybe try your luck in lake sammamish for bass or cutts where the water might be a little bit warmer. Other than that, maybe the Snoqualmie or Skykomish for winter run steel. Best of luck if you head out on one of those lakes and be sure to post a report to let us know how you do!!!!
