RE:lake chelan lake trout
I just searched the forum for "lake chelan" and got many many hits. As this has been a re-occuring questions and answered many times, I'd try that search again. No flashers, big quick fish, very deep.

Look up Chelanlake trout posts. He always says what he is using to catch those lakers. Good luck

Not picking on you, but the Forum is only one part (and a small part at that) of this website. There are hundreds of lake Chelan reports, multiple articles, and Audio files from one of our two active Lake Chelan guides. Oh, and a 17 minute video as well.nastyboy324 wrote:im heading to lake Chelan for a week and was hoping to fish for some lake trout and was just wondering if anyone knows if there using flashers and what size and color there using if they are? i looked everywhere and cant seem to find the answer.

Time to explore the site a little more! Fastest way - top menu, go to Home", then "Search", then type in Chelan. or lake trout. Your can search articles, reports, photos... it's all there.
Cheers!
Oh, to answer your question - generally not, no flashers required, although for the chinook that may not hold true.

NP, good luck fishing Chelan. Once you dial in those fish it's a heck of a good fishery. BTW, it's deep water trolling with DR required. However, you can also jig for them and if you find a hump with good markings it could be a fun way to catch them.
