Northwest Fishing Reports

Would it be a benefit for you guys to use a thread for WDFW specific questions? I know several threads recently have gone from the main topic to other topics because of WDFW questions. I thought maybe having a thread specific to WDFW topics may help?

Sounds good to me. Now, how do I put a sticky on this?

Topics so far:

Warmwater fisheries management - why do some lakes get rehbabbed?

Funding - where does funding come from and go to? (i.e., access boat launches repair and maintenance)

I am trying to find the email I sent to WDFW a while back on the rehab of lakes it was about the time they did sprague lake and the answer was very vague. And we all know how that turned out.

Stacie youre a good person. Do you really want 10,000 fisherpeople asking you questions? Youre a brave person.

Like I've said before, I work for you guys! I am here to assist in anyway I can. If I don't know the answer, I know who does.

IMHO I like the general idea, but then you would have to wade through one long thread to find the subject matter you are looking for which could get tedious (especially when there might be 5 or 10 subject floating at once). Better yet, maybe dialog with Mike Carey and see about a WDFW forum section, that way each subject would have it's own thread, and next year, when the same questions are asked, you can just refer people to that thread instead of repeating yourself.

I think if you guys want to make it a forum section or just this thread - whichever you think would best fit your needs. I just wanted to avoid all the subject changes in threads which I seem to be doing a lot lately!

I will monitor the forum as much as possible. As always, if I don't respond right away, it's because of work schedule. I will do my best to get to the forum at least once a day or more.

Forum for WDFW with seperate threads for each subject gets all my votes. And I'm old so I get to vote multiple times.

Are they smileys? I can't see them. Mike used to have a cool one from the old version of the forum.
