Too early to think about Baker?
Already made camping reservations! Hope this year is better than last year but it sounds like it will be. The Everett Herald has an article about the public meeting coming up.

The campground fills up really quick, it's never too early to reserve!

Yes it does fill up fast. The last two years I have been too late to reserve a site. Got one this year at Shannon Creek!

Smart thinking. Sure beats getting up a few hours before dawn just to wait in line at the launch!

I hope they open the river. Way easier to catch them and you dont have to drive all the way up to baker at 3am

Yeah, that's why I will camp up there for a weekend. Shannon creek seems good because you have to be a registered camper to launch a boat. I do hope they have a season on the skagit as well though since it is much closer.

Camping is the only way to go up at baker, I think the most days in a row that I have driven up there is 4. On the 3rd or 4th day you just have to pound energy drinks just to stay awake on the drive home. I would rather drive 5min to the river pound out a quick limit and go back to bed before the family wakes up
