Northwest Fishing Reports

I tried to google this subject ..... and more or less, "struck out".
Do any of you know what lakes actually rent out 8-12' row boats? I know American Lake near McChord rents them. Any other lakes out there?

Not sure which terms you used in googles search field - but try 'lake resorts in WA State' and it should give you some options

Hearts lake did have them I haven't been there in years. Silver lake (Pierce Co) http://henleysilverlakeresort.com" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; and I think Kapowsin, but I have never been to the resort I just see people out from there when I am on the water.

Fish lake near Leavenworth has a decent and affordable rental fleet. Didn't do well myself but a ton of pictures of huge fish at the Gen store and it's only 2 hrs away from the eastside.

Wife and I just made a scouting trip to Lake Tapps (Sumner/Bonny Lake) and this was my first time there in 26 years! Was at the North Park there by the boat landing.

Does anyone know if there are boat rentals at this Lake, such as at a resort or boat establishment?

I was quite impressed of the size of this Lake from the North side and I know it's actually much larger seeing it mapped out. My thought is trying muskie fishing, something I haven't done since I lived in Michigan (Upper Peninsula).

Ive never seen any place to rent boats at Tapps, but I haven't been looking all that hard because I already have a boat. Try Googling Lake Tapps Boat rental or Lake Tapps resort, etc and see what pops up.

I highly recommend Silver Lake Resort and Rainbow Resort at Lake Tanwax. Both are great fisheries (got my PB Largemouth at Tanwax) and the rental boats are good at both.
