Its not an exotic fish or anything, but I just moved to Pullman from Entiat and the watershed here is waaaay different, so I have no idea what I've been catching. :P You can't really see it in this pic, but its got some cool colors goin on along the lateral line.

Also, on some of the Northern Pikeminnows I've been catching there are these black things stuck to their sides. Does anyone know what these are? Parasites? Should I not be wading in the South Fork of the Palouse? lol

Either a large shiner or maybe a Chisel Mouth. ?

The fins are right, but the mouth seems to large to be a whitefish.

I want to say Peamouth, but the coloration just doesn't look right. I'd go with a shiner, but have no idea what type.

Cool, thnx guys. I think I'll go with shiner, cuz I've caught squawfish (in quick succession to this fish) and whitefish, and this is something different than either of those. So happy about getting to add another fish to my 'caught' list.^^))))

not a chiselmouth, have caught many on the naches river(chisel mouth). they have a straight chisel like lip that you do not see on this fish so i would sday its a shiner. i'll see if i can put up a picture of a chiselmouth.

Interesting Panfisher, I would like to see a picture. I have caught a fish that looks like a squawfish, but had a much smaller mouth similar to the one above but was not a peamouth. I thought it was a chiselmouth but I am not sure.
