Charters / Guides Westport, Ilwacky, LaPush
So a buddy of mine is having family in from out of town in Aug sometime. He wants to get everyone out on a boat out in the ocean and catch some Kings or at least some silvers. I've never been much of a charter guy, so who would you recommend and who have you been out with? I think he said there woiuld be 5 of them. Just trying to limit the roll of the dice for a good capt.

Chuck Custer on the "Freedom". Westport. http://fishonfreedom.com/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
Through the years, Robyn and I have won several derbies off of Chuck's boat. He's consistently on the season leader board. Chuck and his bait boys will work hard to get you on the fish. Robyn can't handle my little boat on the coast so when when "we" hit Westport, only Chuck will do. Feel free to let em know "Mark and Robyn" sent ya, no discounts either way.

The Tequila 2 and the slammer are both great boats. They are deep sea charter. Aswell as the Pescatory from westport charters. Cant go wrong with any of those!

The UrbanAngler and myself have a trip with these people in July. From what he tells me, it is a yearly trip, and the guy has produced good results.

I've seen em out there. That looks like a much better experience, less of a crowd. There are times that the big charters are just too crowded for my taste. We almost always strike up good conversation with other pax, so it's generally a good experience.The Quadfather wrote:http://excelfishingcharters.com/

Plus he is one of our sponsors. There's a Neah Bay bottom fishing video from two years ago that will give you some more info in our video section. Cpt. Tom is a nice guy to spend a day on the water with.MarkFromSea wrote:I've seen em out there. That looks like a much better experience, less of a crowd.
