myon lake

Post by panfisher » Tue Dec 29, 2009 10:07 pm

Myron lake was stock dec. 07 with 115-4lb plus brood stock that have yet to be taped, along with some of the other regular trout that were stocked in october. So far i have spent 4 hours total ice fishing this lake and have caught (7) brooders and one 13"r . i kept the first brooder to eat, it was O.K. but they are much more fun thru the ice. So far as i know there are 114 brooders to catch. i drilled several holes over at the east end where the sunfish hung out during the summer in the loggy area.it averages 4-5 foot deep and the ice is 4-5" thick so check it out, but don't go to far out. the fish are with-in 25ft of the shore any way. do not walk on any other area of is as it has only about 1" on the rest of the lake. All i caught today was two brooders (sorry no pict's) on those trout candy's. The first hole and trout was directly over an old tv set that is know a part of those "man made reefs" that are 15-20 from shore that i talk'd about in some other report about trash. "i got to get me a fishtv outfit" Water is clear and i watch'd these last two swim by and turn around to get a taste of one of those candy colored jigs.
