I think it would be kinda cool to meet other anglers around my age.

There are a handful of younger members (how old are ya?) including myself and some other guys like fishingmachine, JT26, and I'm sure a few others, just can't remember any names at the moment.

You should try to make it to one of the group functions WashingtonLakes has. WaLakes Open, May 23.

The one thing I dont like about this is that I've learned many great fishing techniques fro the younger crowd. If you have your own forum could us old dogs still get tips and help from you younger pups.Or will we be chastized for entering this Forbidden Zone???After all we are all still fisherpeople. One hand helps the other.

When youre up to your rear end in alligators, its hard to remember that the initial plan was to drain the swamp.

if there is a youth forum all shall be invited i think old or young. the pros can help put the youngsters on fish. i am 17 and enjoy putting kids my age and younger onto fish when i can find the fish. there is nothing like a kid landing their first salmon, trout, steelhead, and other lake, stream or salt water species. the older fishermen can help kids learn the ins and outs of fishing. it is pink year this is a good time to get the younsters into fishing.

I have a 16 yo and a 2 yo, I would love for my son to meet some anglers his age and I would be happy to escort the kids on outings. I meet up with 2 members last weekend with my son, both of them are 15. It was fun to meet some other folks on here....besides the kids can probably teach me something!:cyclopsan
