That looks like the Green in Auburn across from the golf course
RE:How well do you know your water? Photo location game.
Nope. It is a Sound river. The tree tilting to the left on the opposite shore is the dead give away. You can wade accross the river to another hole around the area of the tree during normal winter flows. The river is well above normal flows in the photo.kcc wrote:That looks like the Green in Auburn across from the golf course

Wallace it is. Pic taken looking downriver towards the mouth of May Creek from the Cedar Hole. Back when I used to fish there before the rediculous crowds started to show a few years back.MarkFromSea wrote:Wallace

First one I am pulling out of the hat is the Satsop river.Marc Martyn wrote:Might I make a suggestion here. Post pictures of rivers that have some recognizable landmarks, either a bridge, dam, road, waterfall, boat launch or town. There are literally thousands of miles of rivers in this state. Many have remote areas that not many people see. If you are going to post a photo of a river like the one above, give some clues like tributaries, drainage system, etc. People on the east side of the state may have never heard or seen some of the rivers on the west side. There are hundreds of rivers and streams west of the cascades. Let's not keep people pulling rivers out of a hat until the right one comes up.

The Boiley Water Clay Bank River? That is very vague right there. No offense, or so, but worse pic yet as far as the game goes. Need a landmark. I will say Satsop like already stated.

Crankbait, how about a clue or two more if we haven't guessed correctly?
While we wait for crankbait, here's a pic off of the net of an E WA LK, after guessing, right click on the pic to see the answer, I might not be on here tomorrow! Get out and fish! LOL:salut:
