Right now I listen to country and rock music. Sometimes I will listen to my old rap stuff from the 90's and early 00's. Metallica, Nirvana, ACDC, NIN, etc... I like to listen to the mensroom on 99.9 KiSW at 2pm when i get the chance. Those guys are awesome!!!

Bassinbomber I still have all my Motown from the 60's and 70's on LP's at home. From the G-dfather of soul to the Temptations.I still have a couple 8 tracks too.I keep and collect everything.Smokey Robinson was Da Man of my days. When on a date play Smokey or Barry White and it was a guarantee good time.I really dislike rap but I do have all of Emimans(sp) ,2 live crew ,Beasty boys and Limp Bizcuit.Music is all pretty good. Some just different.I grew up with a family of musicians.I played trumpet and accordian. My dad played in the Shrine Marching band and in Swing Bands.Hes almost 80 yo and still blowing his horn in 2 bands.Have a nice weekend everyone.

I just love getting off work in the summer, heading to Lake WA with the boat and fishing with the Monkey 104.9 playing. Some of there music has changed, but you can always change to 99.9 :)
I can stand listening to almost anything. We listen to Jack FM all day at work, thats a decent variety for ya.

And whenever Creed or Nickelback comes on, the volume goes down #-o

Rule #1 of my music library: It has to be at least twice as old as me. Rule #2: No pop/rap crap. Rule #3: 99% of my school has to hate it.

Meaning, Led Zeppelin, the DLR era Van Halen, Deep Purple, Black Sabbath, Pink Floyd, Hendrix, Clapton, Aerosmith, and the Rolling Stones.

The only exceptions to my first rule are the Red Hot Chili Peppers, Guns N' Roses/Velvet Revolver, Metallica, and Nirvana.

99% hate Led Zeppelin and the rest on that list?? Tell I'm not that old that today's youth is out of favor with THOSE groups, ouch!

Old guy music - XM 40, "Deep Tracks". Lots of great album music featuring the less played but still great tunes.

I enjoy all kinds of music as long as it's good. I mostely listen to 103.7 and 107.7 at work. Rotating in and out of the cd player is Kings of Leon, CCR, Miles Davis, Sublime and Jack Johnson. But I love the oldies as well. I definitely don't fit the stereotype.

Ok, maybe not hate it. But at my 1000+ strong school, I've only found five guys including me who like that stuff.

wow. that's depressing. each generation builds on the roots of the previous one. personally, "shredding" is annoying to me. As an old school self-taught guitar player, I just don't feel the soul in shredding. Maybe I'm jealous because I will never play that fast!

500 + blues songs from the early recording up to today's blues. The blues had a baby and they named it rock-n-roll. That is where it all started.

It hit me that I was ol' school when I mentioned Jefferson Airplane and someone corrected me and said "Don't you mean Jefferson Starship?"#-o You'll also get a blank stare from someone if you mention Cassius Clay.
