My rod and reel, they comfort me.

Have you tried a google search to see if you get any hits?

Do you know what is wrong with the starter? If it is he windings, then as a last resort it can be re-wound. That is a great motor, but pretty old, so it may not be available anymore.

Boats.net, I've used them once with positive results.

Romaine Electric can rebuild just about any starter or alternator, and typically at a good price. I see they have a location in Wenatchee, just give them a call and describe what you've got. I have used Seattle location several times to reman obsolete Bosch parts and have never had a problem with their work.

Contact Mike's Marine in Port Orchard, WA. He took over what used to be NW Marine. I do not have his number handy, but if you google Mikes Marine you will get it. Be sure to include Pt Orchard, WA or else you will a bunch of other junk. I needed another main spring for my 1978 Johnson 6hp. He had it at half the price wanted by local dealers. Good Luck.
