The world has been warming up for thousands of years, it's a natural progression and will be for longer humans will be alive. Then it'll go back to an ice age. Done that for milenia.

Yup, in the 1970s the scientisists were claiming that we were going to go thru an ice age. It turned out to be a mini ice age.

You guys remember 10-15 years ago when acid rain was going to kill us all?

Oh and remember when the ozone layer was disappearing and the south pole was going to melt?

#-o Ah you guys are killing me... Even the redneck teachers here aren't pulling out this medievil warming period
little ice age stuff. Ya they did happen but global climate change is not normal and isn't ok:rambo:

CARBON EMISSIONS DO WARM THE EARTH!

Ok so? That was with natural factors all the emmissions (mainly carbon) are not natural factors:-" Why ignore all the pollution and say the effects are normal.... The pollution does have an effect it is very simple to explain. Carbon acts like the windows of your car keeping the heat from escaping back into space.

yes, with much more heating getting into the atmosphere the less of the greenhouse gas layer there is more heat is getting entered into our atmosphere and the CO2 emissions are reducing the greenhouse effect! so were losing it if we can cut back it will rebuild it self!

Other way around....

More heat isn't getting into the atmosphere because of Global Warming.

Co2 and other GHG emissions are INCREASING the greenhouse effect. A lot of the solar energy that reaches the surface of the earth is reflected back. This reflected solar energy (solar energy = heat as we know) is getting trapped by the Greenhouse layer and that is why our atmosphere is warming. Obviously the greenhouse effect is the reason why there is such abundant life on our planet, without it much of our planet would be looking at subzero temperatures.... But the problem with it today is that our emissions are enhancing the greenhouse effect which is why our planet is warming up...
