Winter bass best bet?
So I am planning on hitting the water sometime this week, was wondering what you guys thought would be the best body of water to hit on the west side to possibly get into some bass? I live in lake stevens but am not opposed to hitting washington or sammamish although I have little experience on those last two bodies of water. What are your thoughts? looking for info on specific areas, launches, etc.
RE:Winter bass best bet?
Sammamish has only one launch for the public. Altho I've heard of 1 'up north' someplace that is good for rafts, tube type, and canoes.
Last I heard, a couple weeks ago, the state park launch at the south end is closed, or looks closed due to them putting in new docks. You might want to call the state park.
Fish Sammamish around the sunken forest and any deep rock piles around the lake like the mid-west shoreline. But I've only fished Samammish once during the winter, last Feb.
Washington has deep rocks also, but I don't know where. During the winter I've had good luck in deep water under the bridges, and steep dropoff shorelines/points. But I haven't fished it in many years during the winter.
