It will be total length of all fish that are of legal size caught. So use those baits wisely.

By legal size you mean "tourney Legal", 14" and better.

I see Mark ask the question about jigs. I looked and didn`t see anything about weight. Does this go with jigs? Like pegged bullet weights, carolina rig or worm jigs and football heads if a guy wanted to rig it that way?

Rules Update

After talking with Mike we have decided to allow the use of weighted hooks (jigs) or any kind of attached weight (Like bullet weights or split shot). This will include jig heads painted or lead and shakyhead jigs. The jig head must not have anything other then the lead on it, no skirts, feathers, or hair on it.
With this said I must still say the most productive way I have found to fish them is still the weightless "Fish on the fall" technique, either tex-posed or wacky. The next is the drop shot rig, I have a prostaff member that has been tearing up the circuit dropshotting a 5" whole Sink-N-Fool bait.

Caught my first dink largie of the year, spinner bait, today. Sun, rainstorm from hell, sun... Lots of water in the boat, rain. Duvall, Rasmussen pond. Lots of sunnies also. Osprey swooped in a few times for sunny snacks. Good day! I did a no heat call less than a block away then hit the pond.

I am going to give them a try for walleye on a drop shot or carolina rig style. Has anyone tried them for walleye yet or is it strictly a bass thing.

For the contest, its a large and small bass only.
Good Luck Everyone!

It is just a bass contest for the top prize, but I have a special price just for this for the most unusual fish caught, so give the walleyes a shot at them. Walleye is one of the few fish I have not caught on them yet, but then I haven't caught Walleyes on anything else either. lol As we don't have many Eyes here, but I hope to get one on a Sink-N-Fool This year along with a Tiger musky.
I have caught Rainbow trout up to 24", 7 lb. Bull trout, Brown trout to 19", a 22" Cutthroat, a 6lb. Mackinaw, a 17" Crappie, 12" Perch, a 8 lb. Squaw fish, quite few Pike up to 32", My biggest ever Smallie at 7. lb, and a million L.M. Bass. My customers have caught 30 lb. Stripers from the Cali. delta, Redfish from the gulf coast along with Speckled trout, Snook, Mahi mahi, Spotted bass, and few others that I have forgot. So fish them for Steelhead, or Walleyes, or whatever you can think of.

Hmm...30+ stripers, maybe after the contest is over ill place an order for a few packs.
We have a pretty good striper and white bass population in Lake Pleasant... :-$
BUT for now, largies are on my mind, and hopefully on my hook very soon... :bounce:

Wow got my baits for the tourny today and I must say this is going to be harder then I thought. I was thinking there would be a huge total in inches to when. Now I`m thinking not. With the weather we have been having and the color of these it`s gonna be tough. We will get them to bite but it`s gonna be tough. I`m thinking that my plan might not be a winner considering the colors of the baits and the lake or lakes I was gonna target.I`m not saying at all that I don`t like the colors but they are for certain waters in my opinion. But I do like the weight of them. What do ya think AMX? I agree with Fish N Fool it`s gonna take creative rigging.

Mike or Rick I`m reading the rules that I got with my baits. I`m wondering where it says on another card you must have the date and time it was caught. Says this under the part that if your camera has a date and time use it. Does this mean we also have to write the date and time on a card or the camera info is good enough? Just wanna make sure.

I got the baits today also. Altho there wasn't any rules encluded. But I think I have them figured out just fine.

I think the baits will work just fine. One color I was hoping for, but didn't get, I have specific plans for, that I've been thinking about for the past couple days. The one color that is fairly close should work great.

One other color is close enough to a lure I currently use.

The other 2 colores are close and sorta close to something I use so I think the possiblities are there and the results should be good.

I just hope the lettering doesn't scare off the fish, "FISH-N-FOOL LURES" and warning the fish that they'd be fools for eating these.
